Mission
Young Writers Studio is a collection of programs including creative writing workshops and one-on-one tutoring, connecting community volunteers with students ages 8-18 to support students’ ability to communicate through writing.
Vision
Young Writers Studio supports and encourages young writers in elementary through high school as they explore their personal points of view and and grow through self-expression in both creative and expository writing. We believe that everyone holds a stake in the education of our youth, and so we connect community volunteers from all careers and backgrounds with young people in a variety of one-on-one and group settings, both in and out of our local public schools.
